Apex Legends battle royale game downloads pass 1 million

After officially being unveiled yesterday by Electronic Arts and made available to download, over 1 million gamers downloaded the new Battle Royale shooter in just the first eight hours after launch. Apex Legends is a free-to-play Battle Royale shooter From the creators of Titan fall and is now available to enjoy on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Respawn has also confirmed today that it isn’t working on Titanfall 3 at the current time but is concentrating its efforts on Apex Legends until further notice. It seems that Apex Legends has taken off to a good start but it will be interesting to see how many players are still around in 30 days or so.
